PPSCANDIDATEPORTAL is Hiring an Electrical Superintendent Near Florida, NY

Panhandle Power Solutions is seeking a self-motivated, deadline-driven Electrical Superintendent to successfully oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects. As Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the project and managing the on-site construction team. This candidate must ensure orderliness on-site, compliance with safety regulations, adherence to quality standards, and timely availability of equipment and materials on site. This candidate will also aide in coordinating inspection authorities as necessary to obtain approvals. You will liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals.Successful Electrical Superintendents must complete projects on time, within budget, and without compromising on quality. Top candidates will be strong leaders, pro-active, and perform well under pressure.PPS is looking to hire one to two Electrical Superintendent's for several upcoming projects. The position will require travel to several sites located across Florida and the East Coast. Federal experience is preferred and Procore experience is a must.Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)• Lead and manage the on-site construction team.• Coordinate and oversee all work on site• Work with/as Project Manager to develop project schedules and updates• Work with/as Project Management Team & Subcontractors to schedule manpower and equipment.• Participate in regular progress meetings with project stakeholders• Ensure quality standards are met• Interface daily with crew foremen to ascertain their needs, problems and job progress• Lead and manage the on-site construction team• Place orders for materials, and responsible for equipment and materials on site• Follow the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met• Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness• Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs• Interface with inspection authorities regarding approvalsEducation/Experience• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required• A minimum of 4 years construction/electrical supervisory experienceWork Requirements• Must have experience with Commercial Construction• Must be eligible to work in the US• Background Screening will take placeKnowledge/Skill Requirements• Ability to influence people to work enthusiastically towards goals and performance targets by effectively providing necessary coaching, mentoring, and feedback• Extensive knowledge of electrical construction within Industrial, Civil, • Ability to lead and manage change through continuous performance improvement in employee development, quality, safety, and production• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
